Brilliant, young, Australian clarinet and saxophone star, Duncan Hemstock returns to the ARC (St John’s Arts Centre, St John’s Walk, Market St, Old Harlow, CM17 0AJ) on Saturday 26th October at 3pm.

Duncan was given his first clarinet and a Benny Goodman cassette when he was 13. Upon hearing the first phrase, he fell in love with Jazz and Swing music and eventually he made his way to the local jazz club. There he learnt from and worked with many talented and experienced musicians, and was lucky to be taught by virtuoso Aussie clarinet player Andy Firth.
Growing up in Adelaide, he toured in the much loved Royal Garden Jazz band and as a soloist all across Australia.
Moving to London a decade or so ago, he was snapped up by many of the top jazz bands and is busy touring and playing concerts, clubs and festivals all over the UK and Europe.
Joining Duncan will be vibraphonist and pianist, Colin Bray, ex Alex Welsh guitar star, Jim Douglas, & Keith Donald, and ex Harlow drummin’ man, John Petters.
